About the firm
Bulenox is a Delaware-registered futures prop firm that makes the trader pick a risk model before buying and then locks it for the life of the account: Option 1 is a real-time trailing drawdown that follows the highest point including open positions, with full contract size from day one; Option 2 is an end-of-day drawdown that stays fixed through the session, scales contracts with the balance, and pauses the day on a daily loss limit instead of closing the account. Three routes are sold - Qualification (one-time, 30 days of access), Fast Track (straight into a simulated live account) and Momentum (one payment covering both stages) - across $25,000 to $150,000. Three successful payouts on a Master Account make a trader eligible for consideration for a live Funded Account.

Leverage & contract limits
Position limits: Contract limits follow the risk model. Qualification allows 3, 7, 12 and 15 contracts by size. Fast Track and Momentum allow 3 / 7 / 12 / 15 minis on the trailing option but only 2 / 4 / 8 / 12 minis on the end-of-day option, which scales with the balance. One mini equals ten micros, and both can be held at once.
Futures accounts are sized by contract limit and exchange margin rather than by a leverage multiplier, so no forex-style leverage figure applies.
Risk model: Option 1 (trailing): the loss limit follows the highest point reached including open positions, tracked live with commissions included, and never falls back. Option 2 (end of day): the threshold is fixed through the session, moves once at the close on realised profit, scales contract size up as cash grows, and adds a daily loss limit that pauses the day rather than closing the account. On both, the drawdown freezes for good once it reaches the starting balance plus $100.
Commissions & fees
The risk model is chosen at checkout and cannot be changed afterwards. On both models the drawdown follows the balance upward and then stops permanently once it reaches the starting balance plus $100, after which it is a fixed floor. The trading day runs 5:00 PM to 4:00 PM North American Central Time and all positions must be closed by 3:59 PM CT - holding overnight is strictly prohibited. Standard and micro contracts can be traded at the same time, at ten micros to a mini. Connecting to Rithmic through a third-party API or composite software adds $100 a month. The Rithmic agreement requires a professional or non-professional declaration that is locked for the life of the account: non-professional traders get exchange data included, professionals are billed $116 a month for CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX data. Bulenox advertises no background check, no minimum trading days and news trading allowed.
Firm rules
Pick a risk model, and live with it
Locked at checkout
Option 1 is a real-time trailing drawdown that follows the highest equity including open positions, with full contract size from day one and no scaling. Option 2 moves the threshold only once a day, at the close, on realised profit, scales contracts as cash grows, and adds a daily loss limit. The choice is locked for the life of the account and cannot be changed later.
The drawdown eventually freezes
Starting balance plus $100
On both risk models the loss limit trails upward with the balance and then stops permanently once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. From that point it is a fixed floor. On Option 2 the daily loss limit, by contrast, stays active for the whole life of the account and is never lifted - except on the $25,000 Option 2 account, which has none.
No overnight positions
Flat by 3:59 PM CT
The trading day runs from 5:00 PM to 4:00 PM North American Central Time, and every position must be closed by 3:59 PM CT. Holding overnight is strictly prohibited. Weekends and public holidays do not count as trading days, and a trading day is counted only when at least one trade is opened.
No minimum trading days
Pass in one session
A Qualification Account has no minimum or maximum number of trading days and can be completed in a single day; there is no requirement to trade every day. Access to a Qualification Account is valid for 30 days from purchase.
Passing is not automatic
Review, then documents
Reaching the profit target submits the account for review rather than opening a Master Account. Bulenox verifies the trading activity, then emails a completion certificate, the Master Account Agreement and activation instructions, which have to be completed before the Master Account is live. The Qualification Account is closed automatically once it is.
Three payouts to be considered for live
At Bulenox's discretion
After three successful payouts on active Master Accounts, the accounts may be considered for transition to a live Funded Account using Bulenox capital. The firm is explicit that this is discretionary and not automatic, and that declining the Funded Account Agreement closes the Master Account with no further reward.
Data status is a one-time choice
$116 a month if you get it wrong
The Rithmic agreement requires declaring professional or non-professional status, and the declaration is locked across Qualification, Master and Funded accounts. Non-professional traders pay nothing for exchange data; professionals are billed $116 a month. Connecting through a third-party API or composite software adds a further $100 a month.

FAQs
5A Qualification Account is a one-time $145 for a 25K, $175 for a 50K, $215 for a 100K and $325 for a 150K, valid for 30 days. Fast Track, which skips qualification, is $338 to $788. Momentum, where one payment covers both stages, is $94 to $358. Bulenox publishes an always-on coupon code, BULENOX, that it says never expires.
Option 1 trails in real time from your highest point including open positions, but gives you full contract size immediately. Option 2 fixes the threshold through the session and only moves it at the close on realised profit, but scales your contracts up as the account grows and adds a daily loss limit that pauses the day instead of ending the account. The choice is locked for the life of the account.
No. A Qualification Account has no minimum or maximum, and can be passed in a single day. A trading day counts only when you open at least one trade, and you are not required to trade every day. Access is valid for 30 days.
Only if you declare yourself professional when signing the Rithmic agreement - that costs $116 a month for CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX data. Non-professional traders pay nothing. The declaration is locked for the life of the account. Using a third-party API or composite software to reach Rithmic costs an extra $100 a month.
Three successful payouts on your active Master Accounts make them eligible for consideration for a Funded Account trading Bulenox capital. The firm states clearly that the transition is at its discretion and is not guaranteed by the third payout, and that it requires accepting the Funded Account Agreement.
