About the firm
TradeDay is a futures prop firm selling monthly evaluations in three flavours of the same account: Intraday, where the trailing drawdown is calculated on live equity; End of Day, where it is calculated on the close; and a Risk Managed variant that trades a tighter 45% consistency rule for a three-day minimum instead of five. Funded accounts have no payout buffer and no consistency rule, a payout can be requested after a single trading day with a $250 minimum, and the split climbs as the account grows - 50/50 below $4,000 of net profit, 80/20 above it, and 90/10 in a Funded Live account. TradeDay publishes individual payout certificates and states it has verified more than $10 million in payouts.

Leverage & contract limits
Position limits: Position limits are 2 contracts (20 micros) on a 25K, 5 (50 micros) on a 50K, 10 on a 100K and 15 on a 150K, applied in the evaluation and the funded account alike.
Futures accounts are sized by contract limit and exchange margin rather than by a leverage multiplier, so no forex-style leverage figure applies.
Risk model: A trailing maximum drawdown of $1,000 (25K), $2,000 (50K), $3,000 (100K) and $4,500 (150K). The evaluation variant decides how it is measured - live equity on Intraday, the close on End of Day - but every funded account reverts to an intraday-calculated trailing drawdown. Consistency is 30% on the standard variants with a five-day minimum, or 45% on Risk Managed with a three-day minimum; the funded account has no consistency rule at all.
Commissions & fees
Evaluations are billed monthly with no activation fee, and the reset price matches the monthly fee. The same account size is sold at three different prices depending on how the drawdown is measured and how tight the consistency rule is - the Intraday version is cheapest, the End of Day version costs more, and the Risk Managed version costs the most while cutting the minimum trading days from five to three. Funded accounts carry no payout buffer, no milestones and no consistency rule, with a one-day minimum before a payout can be requested and a $250 minimum request. Accounts are available on both Tradovate and Rithmic, and TradeDay advertises Quick Pay processing.
Firm rules
Three versions of every account
Priced by how risk is measured
Intraday calculates the trailing drawdown on live equity and is the cheapest. End of Day calculates it on the close and costs more. End of Day Risk Managed costs the most and tightens the consistency rule to 45% while cutting the minimum trading days from five to three. The drawdown figure itself is identical across all three.
Funded accounts drop the consistency rule
And the buffer
A funded account has no consistency rule, no milestones and no payout buffer. A payout can be requested after a single trading day, with a minimum of $250. The trailing drawdown on a funded account is calculated intraday regardless of which evaluation variant was bought.
The split climbs with the account
50/50, then 80/20, then 90/10
TradeDay pays 50% of net profit below $4,000, 80% above $4,000, and 90% once the trader reaches a Funded Live account. It is one of the few firms where the headline split is not available on the first payout.
Resets cost a month
No activation fee
A reset is priced at the same figure as the monthly fee - $45 on a 25K Intraday, $265 on a 150K End of Day Risk Managed. Nothing is charged to activate a funded account after passing.
Consistency and minimum days are linked
30% and five days, or 45% and three
The standard variants require a 30% consistency rule over at least five trading days. The Risk Managed variant allows a pass in three days but holds the trader to 45% consistency. Both are evaluation-only requirements.
Published payout certificates
Over $10 million verified
TradeDay publishes individual payout certificates on its site and states that it has verified more than $10 million in trader payouts, which is a stronger form of disclosure than the aggregate figures most firms advertise.

FAQs
5It depends on which version of the account you buy. A 25K is $100 a month on Intraday, $120 on End of Day and $130 on End of Day Risk Managed; a 150K is $360, $400 and $530. A discount of up to 60% was running on 26 October 2026, taking the 25K Intraday to $45. Resets cost the same as a month, and there is no activation fee.
How the trailing drawdown is measured during the evaluation - on live equity including open positions (Intraday) or only on the closing balance (End of Day). The dollar figure is the same either way: $1,000 on a 25K up to $4,500 on a 150K. Once funded, every account uses the intraday calculation.
In tiers. You keep 50% of net profit up to $4,000, 80% above $4,000, and 90% once your account becomes a Funded Live account. That is a lower starting split than most futures firms, which is worth weighing against the day-one payouts.
After one trading day. Funded accounts have no payout buffer, no milestones and no consistency rule, and the minimum request is $250.
It lets you pass in three trading days instead of five, in exchange for a tighter 45% consistency rule and a higher monthly fee. The drawdown and position limits are unchanged.
