One-time fee, resets are paid
- LucidPro evaluations and LucidDirect accounts are bought with a single fee. Nothing rebills, and there is no time limit on passing - but because there is no billing cycle there is also no free restart. A failed evaluation is restarted by buying a reset from the dashboard, which returns the balance and risk parameters to their starting state. Reset prices are published per size: $75, $120, $190 and $255.
Max loss limit trails on the close
- The max loss limit is $1,000 on a 25K, $2,000 on a 50K, $3,000 on a 100K and $4,500 on a 150K, and it trails on end-of-day balance rather than intraday equity. LucidDirect runs a higher limit ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000) because there is no evaluation in front of it.
Payout needs three things
- A payout request needs the cycle's minimum profit goal ($250 on a 25K up to $1,000 on a 150K), a largest single day no more than 40% of the profit earned in that cycle, and a balance above the buffer - the initial max loss limit plus $100, which cannot itself be withdrawn. All three reset after every approved payout, and requests are final once submitted.
90/10 split
- Every funded payout is split 90% to the trader and 10% to Lucid Trading. Accounts bought or reset before 28 November 2025 keep an older entitlement to 100% of the first $10,000. The minimum request is $500.
Daily loss limits differ by route
- LucidPro applies a daily loss limit of $1,200 on a 50K, $1,800 on a 100K and $2,700 on a 150K, with none on the 25K. LucidFlex and LucidDaily have no daily loss limit and apply 50% consistency in the evaluation instead. LucidDirect pairs a fixed daily loss limit with a scaling one set at 60% of the peak end-of-day balance.
Prohibited strategies
- Lucid publishes separate policies prohibiting hedging across accounts, high-frequency trading and micro-scalping, alongside an inactivity policy and a trade-with-integrity standard. Allowed trading times and approved products are published per contract.
