How these statistics are made

Every number on this page is computed from Prop Firm Pal’s own database when the site is built, and each table names the firms it counts. “Tracked” means every firm record we publish; “listed” means the firms we hold enough on to compare — verified by a person, or sourced from the firm’s own website and cited. Prices, splits, drawdown and payout figures come from listed firms only, so a firm we know nothing about is never counted as a “no”.

The ranking these figures sit beside is explained on the methodology page. To cite a figure, link to this page and give the date above.

A proprietary trading firm, also known as a prop firm, is a company that provides traders with access to funded trading accounts. Most prop firms require traders to pass an evaluation or challenge that tests consistency, risk management, and profitability before granting a funded account.

How do prop firm challenges work?

Prop firm challenges are evaluation programs where traders must meet specific profit targets while following strict risk management rules.
