Prop firm health tracker
Who is growing, who is shrinking, and who has lost most of their audience.
Prop firm health — the short answer
Prop Firm Pal tracks monthly web traffic for 531 prop firms, of which 384 have enough history to read a trend. Figures below are for August 2026. 149 firms have lost more than 40% of their traffic over three months, the steepest being Quantx at 100%. 87 have grown by more than half, led by X Pips at +2381%. These are third-party estimates of website visits. Falling traffic is not proof that a firm is in trouble, and rising traffic is not proof that one is trustworthy — but a firm quietly losing most of its audience is worth knowing about before paying for an evaluation.
Falling sharply
149 firms. Down more than 40% over three months. Not proof of trouble on its own, but it is the pattern that precedes most closures.

How to read this
What a traffic trend can and cannot tell you about a firm.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded account numbers, or revenue, and small sites carry a wide margin of error — firms below roughly 500 monthly visits are shown without a trend rather than with a meaningless one.
A falling number is not proof that a firm is in trouble, and a rising one is not proof that a firm pays out. What the trend is genuinely good for is spotting a firm losing its audience months before anything is announced — which is the point at which a trader still has the option not to buy an evaluation.

What is a proprietary trading firm (prop firm)?
A proprietary trading firm, also known as a prop firm, is a company that provides traders with access to funded trading accounts. Instead of risking your own capital, you trade the firm’s funds and earn a share of the profits. Most prop firms require traders to pass an evaluation or challenge that tests consistency, risk management, and profitability before granting a funded account.
How do prop firm challenges work?
Prop firm challenges are evaluation programs where traders must meet specific profit targets while following strict risk management rules. These rules often include maximum daily drawdown, overall drawdown limits, minimum trading days, and consistency requirements. If you successfully complete the challenge and any verification phase, you can qualify for a funded trading account and receive a profit split.
