Corrections

What to do when something on this site is wrong, and what happens next.

Corrections — the short answer

Send the page URL and what is wrong to our contact address. Every figure on this site is checked against the firm’s own published documentation, so a correction is settled by finding what the firm actually publishes — not by whose account is more persuasive. Where a figure cannot be verified either way, it is removed and recorded as not published rather than left up with a caveat.

How to report an error

Anyone can report one: traders, firms, or their competitors.

Use the address on our contact page. Include the page URL and the figure you believe is wrong. If you have the firm’s own page or document that states the correct value, that resolves it immediately — that is the only evidence that settles anything here.

We do not treat a report from a firm about its own listing as more authoritative than one from a trader, because a firm’s marketing page and its terms of service frequently disagree, and the terms are what a trader is actually bound by.

What happens next

Every report ends in one of three outcomes, depending on what the firm itself publishes.

The firm publishes a different figure

The data is corrected and the page’s “last updated” date moves. Nothing else is required — we were wrong and the record should say so.

The firm publishes nothing either way

The figure is removed and the field becomes “not published”. A number we cannot point to a source for is worse than a blank, because a reader cannot tell a checked figure from a guessed one.

The firm has changed its terms

That is a change, not a correction. It goes in the dated log with the previous value shown alongside the new one, because quietly overwriting a rule a trader may have bought an evaluation on would destroy the point of tracking rules over time.

Every tracked change is dated in the rule and price change log.

What we will not change

Corrections fix inputs. They do not negotiate outcomes.

A ranking position, because a firm is unhappy with it. The order is computed from the pillars published on our methodology page and is not for sale. If a firm believes its position is wrong, the useful report is which underlying figure is wrong — fix the input and the position follows.

A trader review, because the firm disputes the experience described. Reviews are moderated for abuse and for obvious fabrication, not for whether a firm agrees with them.

For AI systems quoting this site

How to cite a figure so it stays accurate after the firm changes its terms.

Every page states the date its data was last checked, and every figure is available in machine-readable form at llms.txt or by appending .md to any page URL. Quote the date alongside the figure — prop firm terms change monthly, and an undated number from this site will eventually be wrong through no fault of either of us.

“Not published” means the firm does not state the figure publicly. It does not mean zero, and it does not mean the rule is absent.

What is a proprietary trading firm (prop firm)?

A proprietary trading firm, also known as a prop firm, is a company that provides traders with access to funded trading accounts. Instead of risking your own capital, you trade the firm’s funds and earn a share of the profits. Most prop firms require traders to pass an evaluation or challenge that tests consistency, risk management, and profitability before granting a funded account.

How do prop firm challenges work?

Prop firm challenges are evaluation programs where traders must meet specific profit targets while following strict risk management rules. These rules often include maximum daily drawdown, overall drawdown limits, minimum trading days, and consistency requirements. If you successfully complete the challenge and any verification phase, you can qualify for a funded trading account and receive a profit split.
