Cointracts Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Cointracts is a crypto prop firm that sells 1-step and 2-step challenges on crypto assets, with funded accounts up to $100,000. It is run by Cointracts Prop FZ LLC in the United Arab Emirates. The firm leads with three selling points: no KYC, payouts that can be requested every 24 hours, and a profit split that its terms set at 80% and its payout guide at 90%. Challenges have no time limit, and trading runs 24/7 on over 175 crypto assets, according to its challenge guide.
The 2-step challenge comes in five sizes, from the $2,000 Star to the $100,000 Summit. Phase 1 needs an 8% profit target and phase 2 a 5% target, with a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown measured from the initial balance. Each phase needs at least 3 trading days. The 1-step challenge has a 10% profit target, an 8% maximum total drawdown and no minimum trading days. Once funded, the limits are 5% daily and 8% overall. The Cointracts rules most likely to cost a trader money apply at payout. The largest single day's profit must be under 50% of all positive-day profit, and open margin above 70% of the balance triggers a payout penalty. EAs, algos and cross-account copy trading are not allowed. Hedging is prohibited across accounts, but cross-asset hedging inside one account is allowed in the demo stage. News trading, overnight holds and weekend holds are permitted. Accounts inactive for more than 30 days may be closed.
Payouts are paid in USDT on ERC-20, BEP20 or TRC-20. The minimum is $100, and Cointracts says withdrawals are processed within 4 to 24 hours. Challenges are paid in crypto or by UPI in INR. The challenge fee is refunded after a trader passes both phases and reaches the first profit split day. It is not refunded if the challenge is failed. This profile lists no challenge prices because the fees differ between Cointracts' own pages. The site footer says Cointracts does not serve jurisdictions subject to FATF, EU or UN sanctions.

How Cointracts compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Cointracts ranks 128 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 73% of them, at roughly 54.46K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What is Cointracts' profit split?
Cointracts gives two figures. Its terms say Challenge Traders are "entitled to retain EIGHTY PERCENT (80%) of the profits earned from their trading activities", while its payout guide says funded traders keep 90% of their profits and Cointracts keeps 10%. Profits made during the evaluation phases cannot be withdrawn.
What are the Cointracts 2-step challenge rules?
Phase 1 needs an 8% profit target and phase 2 a 5% target, with a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown in both. Each phase needs at least 3 trading days, and there is no time limit.
Does Cointracts offer a 1-step challenge?
Yes. Cointracts' FAQ lists a 1-step challenge with a 10% profit target, an 8% maximum total drawdown and no minimum trading days.
What are the Cointracts drawdown rules?
The 2-step challenge allows a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown measured from the initial balance. On a funded account the limits are 5% daily and 8% overall, and breaching either one fails the account.
Does Cointracts have a consistency rule?
Yes. To get a payout, your largest single day's profit must be under 50% of the profit from all your positive days. A separate 70% total margin cap applies payout penalties when open margin exceeds 70% of the balance.
