Funded Index Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Funded Index is a synthetic index prop firm. Its challenges trade Volatility, Boom & Crash and Step indices, which it says run 24/7, and all trading takes place on Deriv MT5 demo accounts. It lists six 1-step evaluation accounts from $3,000 (Launch) to $100,000 (Odyssey), priced from $19 to $410, and challenge fees are paid in crypto. The terms name the company For Index Traders and describe the funded accounts as simulated, with payouts made by the firm rather than by Deriv.
The Funded Index rules are the same on every account size: a 15% profit target, a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown that the terms describe as static from the starting balance. Traders need 3 profitable trading days before qualifying or requesting a payout, and no time limit is published. The rules that most often catch traders out are in the terms: every trade must stay open at least 3 minutes, trading without a stop loss is a hard breach, and any position above 200% or below 50% of the initial lot size breaches the account. A 20% consistency rule also applies at payout, where no single profitable day may exceed 20% of total profit; breaking it makes the payout ineligible rather than closing the account. High-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, EAs that exploit price feed delays, account mirroring and multi-account trading are prohibited.
The challenge cards show an 80% profit split, but the Funded Index terms set a stepped split: 50% on the first payout, 60% on the second, 70% on the third and 80% after that. Payouts are bi-weekly, paid in cryptocurrency or approved digital assets, and processed within 24–48 hours after approval. Identity is checked with a government-issued ID and proof of address. Challenge fees are non-refundable once trading credentials have been issued. The homepage mentions account scaling every 4 months on consistent performance, without further detail, and no restricted-country list was found.

How Funded Index compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for September 2026, Funded Index ranks 330 of the 468 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 29% of them, at roughly 1.57K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between July 2026 and September 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before July 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
