Halcyon Trader Funding Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Halcyon Trader Funding is a futures prop firm that sells three evaluation programs, Halcyon Lite, Halcyon Prime and Halcyon Dynamic, and advertises same-day upgrades from a passed evaluation to a reward account. Every program pays a 90% profit split. Lite and Prime come in $25,000, $50,000 and $150,000 sizes, while Dynamic starts from one 50K evaluation and lets the trader pick a 50K, 75K, 100K or 150K reward account afterwards, with Intraday or End-of-Day drawdown and a 40% consistency rule or none. Traders get CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT contracts such as ES, NQ, CL and GC and their micros.
The Halcyon Lite evaluation uses an intraday trailing drawdown and can be passed in 1 trading day, with a $2,750 profit target and $2,000 drawdown on the 50K account. Halcyon Prime uses an end-of-day drawdown with a $3,000 target and $2,000 drawdown at 50K, and its 40% consistency rule means at least 3 trading days unless the 1-Day Pass add-on is bought. Every evaluation expires after 30 calendar days. The rules that end accounts: evaluation and simulated reward accounts are day trading only and must be flat by 4:45 PM EST, hedging the same underlying is banned, and micros and minis cannot be held together. Bots and algos are allowed if the trader owns the system, but HFT bots are not. Traders may hold 3 reward accounts at once and unlimited evaluations.
Halcyon has no fixed payout window. On Lite and Prime accounts bought after August 29, 2026, the first reward comes after 6 full trading days that each meet a minimum daily profit, and the minimum request is $250. Rewards are paid through RiseWorks or Confirmo and can take 3 business days, and each reward account allows up to 5 rewards before a review for the TLT Program or a live brokerage account. Halcyon cannot pay traders in 18 countries, including Russia, Iran and Venezuela. All account, reset and upgrade fees are non-refundable. Dynamic reward accounts are priced from $71 to $271 depending on size and options; Lite and Prime prices are not published in the help centre.

How Halcyon Trader Funding compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Halcyon Trader Funding ranks 111 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 77% of them, at roughly 80.21K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
