Proop Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
ProopCo, whose site runs at proop.co, is a prop firm based in Mashhad, Iran, that aims its funded accounts at Iranian traders. It sells a 1-step challenge (Proop One), two 2-step challenges (Economy and Flex) and a Custom challenge, on MetaTrader 5, with account sizes from $1,000 to $25,000. Traders pay and are paid in Toman through an Iranian bank gateway or in USDT on the TRC20 network, and ProopCo describes every account as simulated and offered for skill assessment.
The plans page lists the single-stage account with a 10% profit target, a 3% daily and 6% overall drawdown, no minimum trading days and a 10% share of challenge-phase profit. The 2-step account with 8% and 4% targets allows a 5% daily and 10% overall drawdown, and the 2-step with 10% and 5% targets allows 6% daily and 10% overall; Economy and Flex need 3 minimum trading days per phase. No ProopCo challenge has a time limit. The rules that most often catch traders out: on Economy, no more than 80% of a phase target or payout may come from overlapping or chained trades on one symbol; trades under 30 seconds can supply at most 20% of a phase's profit; robots that place trades automatically are banned; and on Custom, trades may not be opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news. An account with no trade for 30 days is restricted and cannot be restored.
The ProopCo profit split depends on the payout schedule. On Economy, traders choose at purchase between payouts every Tuesday at 55%, every 14 days at 75% or monthly at 95%; the single-stage and 10%/5% two-step cards list 80%. There is no minimum payout amount, KYC is required, and the challenge fee is refunded in full with the third payout. A scaling plan adds 25% to the balance for traders who meet its growth and payout criteria, up to $1,000,000, with the split rising to 100%. Prices on the plans page start at $15 for the $1,000 account; some cards show a discounted price beside a list price.

Proop web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked Proop's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 27.97K visits, down 25% on the month before and up 52% over three months.
Its busiest month on record was June 2026 at roughly 44.00K visits. Traffic now is 36% below that peak.
Growth of this size usually means active marketing rather than anything about payout reliability. A firm can grow quickly and still have strict rules.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How Proop compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Proop ranks 158 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 67% of them, at roughly 27.97K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
