Prop Shop Trader Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
PropShopTrader (Prop Shop Trader) is a futures prop firm selling three plans: the Pro Futures and Flex Futures one-step assessments, and Direct Futures, which has no assessment stage and starts the trader on funded-account rules. Plans run from $25K to $150K on Tickblaze or Rithmic. The homepage states that PropShopTrader is an affiliate of Prop Account, LLC, which provides the funding assessments and receives the assessment fees, while the website is operated by PropShopTrader OÜ in Tartu, Estonia. Much of the help centre is now labelled a legacy FAQ and describes an earlier program, so the homepage is the source for the current plans.
On a $25,000 account, Pro and Flex both set a 6% profit target and a 4% end-of-day trailing drawdown with no daily loss cap. Pro needs 1 minimum trading day and has no consistency rule in the evaluation; Flex needs 3 trading days and applies a 40% consistency rule in the evaluation. Direct Futures uses the same 4% drawdown with a 20% consistency rule once funded. The rules that most often end accounts at PropShopTrader are the daily loss limit, the maximum drawdown and inactivity; opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a news event is prohibited, copy trading is allowed only between accounts you own, and total allocation is capped at $1,000,000 across all accounts.
All three plans list a 90% profit split on the $25,000 account, and a funded account needs 3 trading days before a payout on Pro and 5 on Flex and Direct. There is no limit on the number of payouts while the account keeps qualifying. Before a funded account is issued, traders complete KYC and a Trader Agreement, and issuing typically takes 24–48 business hours. The refund policy says all sales are final except where the law requires a refund. Traders from OFAC-listed countries are not accepted. The homepage text read does not give payout methods, processing times or the rules for account sizes above $25,000.

Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a news event is prohibited; the firm decides what counts as a news event, and such positions may be closed with the profit or loss removed, leverage cut or the account breached.
The legacy help centre allows algorithms only if the trader can override them manually and is present while they run; black box systems and third-party signal services are prohibited.
Copy trading is permitted only when the trader owns every account involved.
The legacy help centre prohibits hedging, meaning long and short positions in the same instrument within one account or across several accounts.
Exploiting errors or latency in pricing or the platforms is prohibited.
On $25,000 plans there is no consistency rule in the Pro evaluation, a 40% rule in the Flex evaluation and a 20% rule on the funded Direct account.
The legacy help centre describes day trading only, with the last futures session of the week ending at 4:45 pm EST on Friday and no trading on Saturdays.
The legacy help centre says open futures positions not closed by 4:45 pm EST are auto-liquidated by Rithmic, and the account fails if that leaves the balance below the trailing drawdown.
On $25,000 plans the minimum is 1 trading day in the Pro assessment and 3 in Flex, with none on Direct; funded accounts need 3 trading days before a payout on Pro and 5 on Flex and Direct.
Account numbers are capped by allocation: up to $1,000,000 combined across all accounts, evaluations and Direct included.

Prop Shop Trader web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked Prop Shop Trader's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 25.65K visits, down 35% on the month before and down 56% over three months.
Its busiest month on record was December 2025 at roughly 123.90K visits. Traffic now is 79% below that peak.
A fall of this size over a quarter is the pattern that most often precedes a firm winding down, though it is not proof of it on its own — marketing spend, seasonality and a single lost traffic source all produce the same shape. It is worth weighing before paying for an evaluation.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How Prop Shop Trader compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Prop Shop Trader ranks 168 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 65% of them, at roughly 25.65K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What plans does PropShopTrader offer?
PropShopTrader sells three futures plans: the Pro Futures and Flex Futures one-step assessments, and Direct Futures, which has no assessment stage. Account sizes run from $25K to $150K, on Tickblaze or Rithmic.
What is PropShopTrader's profit split?
The Pro, Flex and Direct plans each list a 90% profit share on the $25,000 account. The number of payouts is not limited as long as the account keeps qualifying and follows the rules.
What are the PropShopTrader drawdown rules?
On a $25,000 account, all three plans use an end-of-day trailing drawdown of 4% with no daily loss cap. Breaking the daily loss limit or the maximum drawdown is a hard breach that fails the assessment or removes the funded account.
Does PropShopTrader have a consistency rule?
It depends on the plan. On $25,000 accounts, the Pro evaluation has no consistency rule, the Flex evaluation has a 40% rule and the funded Direct account has a 20% rule.
Does PropShopTrader offer instant funding?
Yes, through Direct Futures, which has no assessment stage: you trade under the funded-account rules from your first order. At $25,000 it uses a 4% end-of-day trailing drawdown, a 20% consistency rule and 5 trading days before a payout.
