Sway Funded Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Sway Funded is a forex prop firm with three ways in: the Instant Account Challenge, which has no evaluation phase, the 1-step Rapid Challenge and the 2-step Regular Challenge. Account sizes run up to $200,000, all accounts are in USD, and the firm advertises rewards of up to 90% of profits. Traders use Liquid Charts or Liquid Charts Pro from its partner broker, Liquid Brokers, on forex, commodities, stocks, indices and crypto. Sway Funded is run by SF FUNDED LTD, a company incorporated in St Lucia.
The Rapid Challenge sets a 15% profit target, and the Regular Challenge asks for 10% in phase 1, each with a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown. Both limits are trailing drawdowns that move up with the account's equity. The Instant Account uses a 3% daily and 8% overall limit, with a first reward step at an 8% target paying a 55% reward. Only the Instant Account has a consistency rule: no single profitable day may reach 20% of total profit. Each phase needs at least 4 trading days, there is no time limit, and a challenge left inactive for six consecutive months expires. News trading, EAs, copy trading and weekend holding are allowed, but hedging across accounts, high-frequency trading and latency arbitrage are not, and up to 10 challenge accounts can be active at once.
Rapid and Regular accounts pay an 80% profit split, rising to 90% with an add-on bought with the challenge. A reward can be requested with at least $10 in net realised profit after 4 trading days, or 8 on the Instant Account. Sway Funded says it typically processes requests within 24 hours, pays out in Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT, and charges a 1.5% fee on every reward payout. KYC is needed only once all phases are passed. The help centre publishes prices, from $10 for a $1,000 Regular Challenge to $1,990 for a $50,000 Instant Account, and states that the fee is not refunded if a trader cancels or fails. A Refresh Challenge add-on lets a Regular Challenge trader restart a failed phase.
