Upcomers Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Upcomers is a Dubai-headquartered prop firm that sells three kinds of funded account: half-step, 1-step and 2-step challenges, instant funding with no evaluation, and time-limited instant funding accounts (SUPERNOVA, HYPERNOVA and ULTRANOVA) that must hit their target inside a 24-hour, 4-hour or 1-hour window. Challenge and instant accounts go up to $1,500,000, and the Scaling Plan adds 35% every 4 months up to $4,000,000. The standard profit split is 90%, and traders can pick 80% or 100% at checkout, which changes the price. Upcomers offers forex, crypto, indices, commodities and stocks on MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradeLocker and Match-Trader, plus CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures on its own Upcomers X platform.
The Upcomers challenge rules differ by program. Ash needs a 2% profit target, Thunderbolt 5%, both with a 3% daily drawdown and a 6% trailing drawdown (the Dynamic Risk Shield). Ignite also targets 5% but with a 4% daily and 6% static drawdown; Phoenix is a 2-step at 4% per phase with 6% static; Surge asks 5% then 4% with 7% static. Classic versions have no time limit and no minimum trading days; Turbo versions carry a 30-day limit. On instant funding, Vanguard runs a 4% daily and 7% trailing drawdown, Oracle 4% and 5%, and Ember has no daily limit and a 4% trailing drawdown. News trading, weekend and overnight holding, and EAs running a unique strategy are allowed; hedging, even within one account, grid trading, latency trading and account sharing are prohibited.
Payouts need at least 1% profit and a $45 withdrawable balance, and a 20% consistency rule (the Best Day Rule) delays but never breaches. Payout caps rise with each fully approved payout. The help centre describes a 24–48 hour risk review before processing. Bank payouts cost $19.90 + 2.49% and crypto $19.90 + 30%. A full refund is available within 14 days if no trade was opened, and Challenge accounts earn a bonus of 200% of the fee after three fully approved payouts. Account prices are not published on the challenge plans page.

Upcomers web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked Upcomers's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 869.67K visits, broadly flat on the month before and up 65% over three months.
Growth of this size usually means active marketing rather than anything about payout reliability. A firm can grow quickly and still have strict rules.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How Upcomers compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Upcomers ranks 21 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 96% of them, at roughly 869.67K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What is Upcomers' profit split?
The standard Upcomers profit split is 90%, and it can be changed to 80% or 100% at checkout, which also changes the challenge price. The split chosen stays linked to that account.
What are the Upcomers challenge rules?
It depends on the program. Ash needs a 2% target and Thunderbolt 5%, both with a 3% daily and 6% trailing drawdown; Phoenix is a 2-step at 4% per phase with a 4% daily and 6% static drawdown. Classic versions have no time limit and no minimum trading days.
Does Upcomers offer instant funding?
Yes. Vanguard, Oracle and Ember have no evaluation and no profit target. Vanguard allows a 4% daily and 7% trailing drawdown, Oracle 4% and 5%, and Ember has no daily drawdown with a 4% trailing limit.
What are the Upcomers drawdown rules?
Ash, Thunderbolt and the instant accounts use a trailing Dynamic Risk Shield, while Ignite, Phoenix and Surge use a static maximum loss of 6% or 7%. Funded accounts also may not lose more than 3% of the initial balance on a single trade.
Does Upcomers have a consistency rule?
Yes, the Best Day Rule: no single day may make up more than 15–20% of total profit, 20% on the main programs. It is a soft rule that delays a payout rather than breaching the account, and it does not apply during evaluation.
