VpropTrader Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
VpropTrader (V Prop Trader) is a Singapore-based prop firm that says it was founded in 2020. It runs four programs: an Instant account with no profit target, a 1-Step challenge, a 2-Step challenge and the Climber, a two-stage challenge, alongside a free challenge account. The Instant account pays the highest profit split, 95%, against 80% on every other account type. Traders can trade forex, indices, metals, commodities and cryptocurrencies, and VpropTrader recommends MT5, Match-Trade, Fortex 7, TradingView and cTrader. Every account is simulated: the firm describes them as trading accounts with real market pricing, and pays real profit splits on the results.
The VpropTrader rules change with the program. The 1-Step challenge sets a 10% profit target with a 4% maximum daily loss and a 6% maximum loss; the 2-Step asks for 10% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2 with 5% daily and 10% overall; the Climber sets 5% per level with 4% daily and 6% overall; the Instant account allows a 3% daily and 5% overall loss. Both limits count open as well as closed trades, and the maximum loss is measured from the initial balance. Paid evaluations have no time limit and a minimum of 4 trading days per phase. News trading and holding trades overnight or over the weekend are free in the evaluation but restricted once funded: Basic accounts may not open or close trades within 2 minutes of major news or hold overnight or over weekends (crypto excepted), Instant accounts face a 10-minute news window and no weekend trading, and Pro accounts are exempt. Hedging within one account is allowed, hedging across accounts is not.
The first VpropTrader payout can be requested 14 calendar days after receiving the funded account, with 14 days between withdrawals after that. The minimum withdrawal is $50, and requests are reviewed within 1–2 business days. The challenge fee is refunded with the first payout, except on Instant accounts. A breached challenge can be reset for a fee, but a funded account cannot. Prices tied to a named program and a list of restricted countries were not found on the pages read.

VpropTrader web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked VpropTrader's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 242.13K visits, up 9% on the month before and down 66% over three months.
Its busiest month on record was March 2026 at roughly 954.27K visits. Traffic now is 75% below that peak.
A fall of this size over a quarter is the pattern that most often precedes a firm winding down, though it is not proof of it on its own — marketing spend, seasonality and a single lost traffic source all produce the same shape. It is worth weighing before paying for an evaluation.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How VpropTrader compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, VpropTrader ranks 59 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 88% of them, at roughly 242.13K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
