YRM Prop Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
YRM Prop is a futures prop firm run by YRM Prop LLC, a Delaware company with a New York notice address, that focuses only on futures: CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX contracts traded on Tradovate, NinjaTrader or Tradesea. Its homepage currently says new funded accounts are not available for purchase. When on sale, the path is a Starter Challenge in $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 or $150,000 sizes, then a simulated Prime funded account at a 90% profit split, and possibly a Live account chosen by its risk team at an 80% split. Its Instant Prime instant funding accounts were discontinued on July 13, 2026.
The Starter Challenge help article lists a one-time fee of $99, $149, $249 or $349 and a profit target of 6% of the account. The drawdown is an end-of-day trailing max drawdown ($2,000 on $50,000) that is enforced intraday and locks at the starting balance. There is no daily loss limit and no time limit, but passing needs 2 trading days and a 50% consistency rule, and passed challenges carry a $99 activation fee. Prime adds a soft daily loss limit that pauses trading for the day and a 35% consistency rule. The YRM Prop rules that catch traders out: every position must be closed by 4:15 PM EST, nothing may be held over the weekend, automated trading needs approval, and hedging is prohibited. News trading is allowed with no blackout.
A Prime payout needs 6 qualifying days, each closing with at least $150 net profit, and the cycle restarts after every payout. Each request is capped by a table set by account size and payout number, and on newer Prime accounts it is also limited to 50% of the cycle's profit. The minimum payout is $250, with $100 left in the account. Payouts go only through Rise after one-time KYC, typically within 48 hours of approval, though the payout article says payouts are currently delayed. The terms say all fees are non-refundable, and an account with no trading for 30 days is terminated.

YRM Prop web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked YRM Prop's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 25.71K visits, down 31% on the month before and down 78% over three months.
Its busiest month on record was May 2026 at roughly 117.18K visits. Traffic now is 78% below that peak.
A fall of this size over a quarter is the pattern that most often precedes a firm winding down, though it is not proof of it on its own — marketing spend, seasonality and a single lost traffic source all produce the same shape. It is worth weighing before paying for an evaluation.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How YRM Prop compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, YRM Prop ranks 167 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 65% of them, at roughly 25.71K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
Can you buy a YRM Prop account right now?
Not at the moment. The YRM Prop homepage says new funded accounts are not available for purchase right now and to check back soon, and Instant Prime accounts were discontinued on July 13, 2026; existing accounts keep their rules.
What is YRM Prop's profit split?
YRM Prop pays a 90% profit split on Prime funded accounts and Instant Prime accounts. Traders selected for a Live account move to an 80% split.
How much does a YRM Prop challenge cost?
The help centre lists the Starter Challenge at a one-time $99 for $25,000, $149 for $50,000, $249 for $100,000 and $349 for $150,000. A passed challenge then carries a $99 activation fee to become a Prime account.
What are the YRM Prop drawdown rules?
Accounts use an end-of-day trailing max drawdown that is enforced intraday and stops trailing at the starting balance. On the Starter Challenge it is $1,000 to $4,500 by size with no daily loss limit, while Prime adds a soft daily loss limit that only pauses trading for the day.
Does YRM Prop have a consistency rule?
Yes. Your largest profitable day may be at most 50% of total profit to pass the Starter Challenge, 35% on Prime and 20% on Instant Prime before a payout can be requested.
