Firm Rules
Daily Drawdown
- Alpha Pro 6%: 3%, based on the higher of balance or equity.
- Alpha Pro 8%: 4%, balance-based.

Daily drawdown is calculated using the account's balance/equity at the start of each trading day (00:00 GMT+3 broker time). Breaches are applied using current equity, including unrealised losses.
Maximum Total Drawdown
- Alpha Pro 6%: 6% static.
- Alpha Pro 8%: 8% static.
- Alpha Pro 10%: 10% static.
- Alpha One 6%: 4% trailing.

- Alpha Swing: 3 trading days per phase.
- Alpha Three: 3 trading days per phase.
Maximum Trading Days
Unlimited during evaluation phases.

Weekend Holding

Average Trade Duration
The average duration of all trades must be greater than 2 minutes. At least 50% of gross generated profits on Qualified Accounts, or 50% of total targeted profits during evaluations, must come from trades lasting more than 2 minutes. A breach during evaluation requires restarting from Phase 1; a Qualified Account breach removes all profits and resets the account to its initial balance.
Prohibited Strategies
- Exploiting unrealistic prices/mispricing or front-running price feeds
- Latency trading
- Arbitrage trading
- High-frequency trading
- Reverse trading/group hedging
- Order-book spamming
- Group trading/signal following
Account Management
Account management services are prohibited; all accounts and trades must be handled by the trader whose name is on the account.
Stop-Loss & Take-Profit
Stop-loss and take-profit orders are not generally stated as mandatory in the core plan rules.
Breach Classifications
Rule breaches can be classified as soft breaches, hard breaches resulting in account failure, or serious breaches that can result in a complete platform/funding ban. Alpha Capital may terminate agreements immediately for breaches, remove invalid-trade profits or the entire payout-window profits depending on the breach, and prevent passed evaluations from advancing to Qualified status.
Qualified Account Max Risk Rule
Applies to accounts purchased after July 21, 2026:
- $5K / $10K / $25K accounts: 3% max open risk per asset.
- $50K / $100K / $200K accounts: 2% max open risk per asset.
Multiple positions on the same asset are combined, and a same-direction re-entry within 10 minutes combines the losses. Breaching the threshold closes the account. This rule is additional to the Daily Drawdown and Maximum Drawdown rules.

Payout Policy
Standard profit split is 80% of eligible Qualified Account profits. An optional 90% Profit Split add‑on (selected at purchase) raises the split to 90% and is available on all Alpha One plans and On‑Demand Alpha Pro plans.
Alpha One
- Payout method: On‑Demand only
- Profit split: 80% standard; 90% with add‑on
- Minimum profit requirement: 2% of gross profits on the account balance
- Best Day Rule: No single trading day may contribute more than 40% of total generated profits
- Special rule: If the trailing Max Drawdown has reached the initial balance, requesting all available profits closes the account. If the trailing drawdown has not yet reached the initial balance, profits can be withdrawn while the existing trailing drawdown threshold remains unchanged.
Alpha Pro
- Payout methods: Bi‑weekly or On‑Demand (mutually exclusive)
- Profit split: 80% standard; 90% with add‑on (available on On‑Demand Alpha Pro plans)
- Bi‑weekly details:
- Requests every 14 days, starting 14 days after the initial trade on the Qualified Analyst Account
- Minimum performance fee: $100 gross ($80 net at 80% split)
- First request requires at least 5 trading days using the same strategy (a trading day = a trade opened and closed same day; opening on one day and closing another counts as one day)
- Using minimal lots solely to manufacture required trading days is prohibited
- On‑Demand details:
- Minimum profit requirement: 2% of gross profits on the account balance
- Best Day Rule: no single day >40% of total profits
- Eligibility requires compliance with Best Day Rule and minimum profit requirement
- Note: On‑Demand payouts are unavailable on accounts that selected the bi‑weekly method.

- Payout methods: Bi‑weekly or On‑Demand (mutually exclusive)

- Bi‑weekly details: Same rules as Alpha Pro bi‑weekly (requests every 14 days, $100 gross minimum, 5 trading days for first request, same trading‑day definition, no manufacturing days)
- On‑Demand details:
- Minimum profit requirement: 2% of gross profits on the account balance
- Best Day Rule: no single day >40% of total profits

FAQs
What is the 2-minute rule on Alpha Capital?
The average duration of all your trades must be over 2 minutes, and at least 50% of your profit must come from trades longer than 2 minutes. If more than half your profit comes from sub-2-minute trades, the rule is breached. It applies to all accounts and exists to prevent tick scalping.
Is hedging allowed on Alpha Capital?
Yes. You can hold long and short positions on the same instrument on the same account.
What is the difference between bi-weekly and on-demand performance fees?
Bi-weekly follows a fixed ~14-day cycle — good for traders who want a regular rhythm. On-demand lets you request when you hit eligibility, often with consistency rules (e.g. no single day > ~40% of cumulative profit). Alpha Swing is on-demand only. Confirm your programme on the help centre.
What minimum profit do I need before requesting a performance fee?
Minimums vary by programme — educational copy often cites ~2% gross simulated profit for on-demand and ~$100 gross / $80 net for bi-weekly cycles. Always verify live figures for your plan on the help centre.
How long does it take to receive a performance fee?
Processing time depends on verification (longer on first request), schedule type (bi-weekly vs on-demand), and compliance review. Published interviews show traders request repeatedly over months — plan for process, not instant cash.
