Maximum Daily Loss
- •
E8 Classic and E8 One accounts have a 4% maximum daily loss. E8 Signature accounts have a 2% daily pause — breaching this stops trading for the rest of the day but does not close the account, and trading resumes the following day. The daily loss is calculated from the starting balance at the beginning of each trading day and resets at 00:00 server time. Breaching the standard daily loss on Classic and One accounts results in immediate account closure.
Maximum Total Loss
- •
E8 Classic accounts have a static 8% maximum drawdown from the starting balance. E8 One accounts have a 4% dynamic drawdown that trails from the highest achieved end-of-day balance. E8 Signature accounts have an EOD dynamic drawdown that trails from the highest achieved end-of-day balance and locks at the starting balance once a set profit threshold is reached. Accounts are closed immediately upon breach.
Profit Target
- •
E8 Classic requires 8% in Phase 1 and 4% in Phase 2. E8 One requires 10% in its single phase. E8 Signature and E8 Track have their own customisable targets set at checkout. All open positions must be closed at time of evaluation. No minimum trading days apply across all programs.
Consistency Rule
- •
On E8 One and E8 Classic funded accounts, no single trading day can account for more than 40% of total profits. E8 Signature accounts apply a 35% best day rule. This is checked at the time of payout request — if the ratio is too high, the trader must generate more profit across additional days before a payout can be approved. The rule does not cause account closure.
News Trading Restriction
- •
During evaluation phases across all programs, news trading is fully permitted with no restrictions. On funded E8 Trader accounts (Classic and One), a 10-minute prohibition window is enforced — 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after any high-impact news event. During this window, opening and closing trades on the affected instruments is prohibited. Any profits earned during a violation window are removed but the account is not closed. E8 Signature funded accounts have no news trading restrictions.
Weekend Holding
- •
Overnight and weekend holding is permitted across all evaluation and funded account types. Traders should be aware of gap risk and potential slippage at market open. E8 Signature accounts have all positions automatically closed at 23:00 server time daily and trading resumes at 00:15 server time.
Inactivity
- •
If no trade is placed or closed for 60 consecutive days on any evaluation or funded account, the account is closed due to inactivity. This applies across all programs.
Prohibited Strategies
- •
The following are prohibited: all-or-nothing trading (risking the entire daily drawdown on a single trade), cross-account hedging between multiple accounts, using the same EA strategy as other users, HFT where more than 50% of trades are held under 1 minute, copy trading between E8 evaluation accounts, signal services, arbitrage EAs, and any strategy that exploits platform or pricing imperfections. Martingale is permitted. Violations can result in account termination and forfeiture of fees.
Payouts
- •
E8 One accounts offer payout on demand — payouts can be requested at any time once the 40% best day rule is satisfied and net profit exceeds 50% of the daily drawdown value. E8 Classic and other accounts have the first payout available after 8 trading days, with subsequent payouts every 14 days. Minimum payout is $50 for bank transfers and $250 for cryptocurrency. Payouts are processed within 1–2 business days. A drawdown buffer must be left in the account before withdrawing — traders cannot withdraw all profits or the account will be closed. KYC verification is required before the first payout. Payment methods include Plane (bank transfer) and Rise (crypto).
