Requirements listed
Daily loss limit
- The daily loss limit is 5%, measured from the greater of the prior day's end-of-day balance or equity and reset at 5:00 PM EST. Hitting it is a hard breach: a failed assessment, or a lost funded account.
Static maximum drawdown
- The maximum drawdown is static, set from the starting balance and never trailing: 6% on One Step and 7% on Two Step. On a $100,000 One Step account the breach level stays at $94,000 for the life of the account. A Two Step add-on raises the limit to 8% for 15% more on the fee.
Lock upon payout
- Once the first payout is requested, the maximum drawdown locks permanently at the original starting balance. A Remove Lock Upon Payout add-on bought at checkout disables this.
News trading rules
- Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a news event is prohibited. Open positions prior to the news window can be closed or hit TP, SL or breakeven within the 3-minute news window and this is allowed and traders will not be penalised. Our news rule simply applies to no new open positions 3-minutes either side. There is a news calendar in the trader dashboard so you always be aware of what is going on.
Inactivity rule
- An account with no trade placed in any 30 consecutive days is treated as inactive and hard-breached.
Consistency rule
- Wilson Blanc Capital states there is no consistency requirement on any One Step or Two Step plan, in the assessment or on the funded account.
Minimum trading days
- There are no minimum trading days on the assessment or the funded account, and none before the first payout.
Prohibited trading
- Banned practices include exploiting pricing errors or latency, insider information, front-running, arbitrage across accounts, off-the-shelf challenge-passing strategies, switching strategy between assessment and funded account, and maximum-leverage gambling to hit a target in one move.
Hard and soft breaches
- A soft breach closes the trades that broke the rule and trading continues. A hard breach of the daily loss limit, maximum drawdown or inactivity rule fails an assessment or removes a funded account, forfeiting gains unless Payout Protector was bought.
