Alpha Funded Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Alpha Funded is a prop firm run by Dubai-based Alpha Tech LLC selling simulated funded accounts in forex and CFDs on TradeLocker and Match Trader, and a futures prop firm arm on Tradesea and DXtrade. Its help centre still uses the names Alpha Trader Firm and Alpha Trader Futures. The firm offers 1-step, 2-step and instant funding programs from $10,000 to $500,000, a scaling plan that adds 50% of the original balance every 60 days, and a combined allocation cap of $4,000,000. It claims $100M+ paid to traders and 150K+ funded traders, and shows 4.8/5 on Trustpilot on its pricing page.
The forex 1-Step PRO challenge has an 8% profit target, a 3% daily drawdown, a 6% maximum loss and 5 profitable days of at least 0.50%. The 2-Step Legacy and 2-Step Standard challenges need 10% then 5% with a 5% daily and 10% static maximum drawdown, and 2-Step PRO needs 8% then 4% with a 3% daily and 5% trailing drawdown. Instant Funding has no evaluation, a 3% daily limit, a 5% trailing drawdown and a 1% floating loss limit. The futures 1-Step Flex challenge needs $6,000 on a $100,000 account with a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation. The rules that catch people out: EAs are banned at every stage, funded forex accounts cannot trade within 5 minutes of high-impact news without an add-on bought at checkout, payouts need a consistency score of 35% on 1-Step PRO, 30% on 2-Step Legacy and 20% on Instant Funding, and accounts close after 30 days without a trade.
The standard 30-day payout pays a 100% profit split on 1-step and 2-step accounts, 80% on the first payout. Weekly payouts pay 80% and on-demand 90%. Futures accounts pay 90%, with payouts after every 5 profitable days. Approval takes up to 5 business days, with payment through Rise by crypto, ACH or wire. Base prices run from $79 for a $10,000 2-Step Legacy challenge to $6,000 for $500,000 Instant Funding; the challenge fee is refunded after the first payout on 1-step and 2-step accounts, but Instant Funding fees are not refundable.
