Atlas Funded Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Atlas Funded is a forex and CFD prop firm that sells 1 Step, 1 Step Pro, 2 Step and 2 Step Pro challenges, a Three Step evaluation, two instant funding accounts (Instant Funded and Instant Zero) and Atlas Access, a pay-after-you-pass challenge. Traders get forex, indices, commodities and crypto on TradeLocker, MetaTrader 5 and MatchTrader. The default profit split is 80% on every funded account, raised to 100% by a paid add-on, and total funded capital is capped at $400,000 per trader. Atlas Funded publishes its prices in the help centre: the 2 Step runs from $43 for $5K to $816 for $200K, the 1 Step from $61 to $867, and Instant Funded from $68 to $1,598 for $300K.
The Atlas Funded rules change by account, and none of the challenges has a time limit. The 1 Step asks for a 10% profit target with a 4% daily loss and a 7% static maximum loss, and 5 trading days of at least 0.5% profit. The 2 Step asks for 8% then 5%, with 5% daily and 10% overall drawdown. 1 Step Pro sets 8%, 3% and 6% and pays 15% of evaluation profits with the 3rd reward. Instant Funded has a 3% daily loss, a 5% trailing drawdown that locks at breakeven, and a 20% consistency rule; Instant Zero drops the consistency rule for a 2% daily loss and a 4% EOD trailing drawdown. Rules that catch traders out: trades held under three minutes are listed as a prohibited activity, though its hold-time article says occasional short trades are only reviewed, no new positions may be opened at weekends, and on funded accounts profits from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news may be removed.
Atlas Funded payouts run every 14 days by default, with weekly and on-demand schedules sold as add-ons. The minimum withdrawal is $100; crypto covers up to $1,000 and larger amounts go through Rise with a $50 fee, after KYC with Veriff. The challenge fee is refunded with the 3rd funded payout on the 1 Step and 2 Step models, the 4th on Atlas Access and the 5th on Instant Funded, although the 1 Step article's text also says the 4th payout. The site states that its MetaTrader 5 services are not intended for US citizens or residents.
