Maven Trading Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Maven Trading is a forex prop firm built around small, low-entry accounts: its pricing page starts at a $2,000 account, and a Buy Now, Pay Later challenge costs $5 up front with the rest paid only after passing. Alongside that it sells Standard 1-Step, 2-Step and 3-Step challenges, an Instant funding account, the Omo 2-Step, a single-payout Mini account and a Prediction Markets challenge on event contracts, with account sizes up to $100,000. Traders get forex, commodities, indices and crypto, and the terms name MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader. Maven says it has operated since 2022 and is run by MAVEN LLC from Dubai.
The Maven Trading rules differ by challenge. The Standard 1-Step sets an 8% profit target with a 3% daily and 5% trailing drawdown. The 2-Step asks for 8% then 5% with a 4% daily and 8% static drawdown, plus 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% in each phase. The 3-Step needs 3% in each of three phases within a 2% daily and 3% static limit. Instant accounts have no target but a 2% daily loss, a 3% trailing drawdown, a 1% floating-loss limit and a 20% consistency score before withdrawal. Daily drawdown resets at 00:00 UTC on the higher of equity or balance. EAs are not permitted without prior approval, trades cannot be opened or closed 2 minutes either side of red-folder news (Instant accounts are exempt), grid trading and exclusive hedging are banned, and holding 50% or more of trades under a minute counts as excessive scalping.
Maven Trading's profit split is 80% on Standard, Instant, Omo and Buy Now, Pay Later accounts and 70% on Mini and Prediction Markets. Standard accounts can request a payout every 10 business days after the first trade, capped at $10,000 per 30-day rolling cycle, and once profit passes $5,000 no single day or trade may exceed 50% of it. Payouts go by direct bank transfer or Rise, which charges $20. Prices are listed in USD, from $13 for the $2,000 3-Step to $999 for the $100,000 Prediction Markets Elite, and the challenge fee is refunded on the third withdrawal. A scaling plan adds 25% after 10% profit over 4 months, up to $1,000,000.
