OneUp Trader Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
OneUp Trader is a futures prop firm that describes itself as a recruitment company rather than a funding company: traders pass its 1-step evaluation and then receive a funded account from one of its funding partners. It offers five account sizes from $25,000 to $250,000, sold as a monthly subscription rather than a one-time challenge fee, on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures. OneUp Trader lists more than 20 supported platforms, with NinjaTrader and Rithmic R|Trader Pro free in the evaluation and once funded, and says funding partners cover exchange data fees.
The OneUp Trader rules are the same across sizes apart from the numbers. The profit target is 6% on every account ($1,500 on $25,000, up to $15,000 on $250,000), with a real-time trailing drawdown of $1,500, $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 or $5,500 that stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance. There is no daily loss limit on evaluation or funded accounts. Traders need at least 10 trading days and no time limit applies. The evaluation consistency rule requires the three next-highest profit days to add up to at least 80% of the largest day's profit. All positions must be closed by 3:15 PM CT, with no trading from Friday 3:15 PM CT until the Sunday reopen. Funded accounts add conditions that catch traders out: flat around major economic releases, no trades held under 10 seconds, Dynamic Scaling Targets on contract size, a weekly minimum trade count, and a positive balance at each 15-day interval during a 90-day probation. Express Funding lets a trader whose funded account was terminated in the past 30 days requalify in 5 trading days.
The OneUp Trader profit split is 100% of the first $10,000 and 90% after that. Withdrawals open once profit clears a threshold of $1,500 to $5,500 depending on account size, with a $1,000 minimum and no maximum. They can be requested Monday to Friday by bank wire or crypto (BTC or USDT, one request a week up to $3,000, with a 5% processor fee). The $25,000 account costs $65 a month and the $50,000 account $75, with half the fee paid at sign-up and the other half charged as an activation fee on approval. Monthly payments are non-refundable, and resets cost $50 or $100.

How OneUp Trader compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, OneUp Trader ranks 132 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 72% of them, at roughly 45.26K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
How much does a OneUp Trader account cost?
OneUp Trader charges a monthly subscription: $65 a month for $25,000, $75 for $50,000, $150 for $100,000, $175 for $150,000 and $325 for $250,000. Half the fee is paid at sign-up and the other half is charged as an activation fee when you are approved for funding; the subscription renews every 30 days until you submit the account for review or cancel.
What is the OneUp Trader profit split?
Funded traders keep 100% of their first $10,000 in profit and 90% of profit after that. OneUp Trader introduced this split in 2022, replacing an 80% split.
What are the OneUp Trader rules?
The evaluation requires a 6% profit target, at least 10 trading days, the 80% consistency rule, trading only permitted CME products and staying within the maximum position size and trailing drawdown. All positions must be closed by 3:15 PM CT each day. Funded accounts add Dynamic Scaling Targets, flat positions around major economic releases, a weekly minimum trade count and a 90-day probation.
Does OneUp Trader use a trailing drawdown?
Yes. The trailing drawdown is $1,500 on $25,000, $2,500 on $50,000, $3,500 on $100,000, $5,000 on $150,000 and $5,500 on $250,000, calculated in real time including commissions and fees. It rises as the balance makes new highs and stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance; touching it ends a funded account.
Does OneUp Trader have a daily loss limit?
No. OneUp Trader removed the daily loss limit from both evaluation and funded accounts in February 2023, and its help centre states there is no daily loss limit on either.
