Rulebook12

Consistency rule

  • FundYourFX advertises no consistency rule, but its help centre says no single trading day may make up more than 25% of the profit you request to withdraw. The account is not breached; the payout is held until more profit brings the biggest day under 25%.

Stop-loss rule

  • A stop loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening any trade. Each miss is a soft breach, and a third one terminates the account. Clause 11.1 of the trading rules says 5 minutes, so check the current terms.

Minimum hold time

  • Any trade opened and closed within 60 seconds counts as HFT. Two such trades are allowed as soft breaches, and the third is a hard breach.

Rapid re-entry rule

  • A position cannot be closed and re-opened within 15 seconds.

Trade stacking limit

  • No more than 2 trades in the same direction may be open on one instrument. Exceeding the limit is a hard breach.

News trading rules

  • No new position may be opened within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact news event; profits from such trades are removed and losses kept. The trading rules also bar closing held trades inside that window, and placing both buy-stop and sell-stop orders around news is a hard breach.

Hedging and copy trading

  • Hedging is prohibited within one account and across accounts. Copying another trader, a signal service or an account at another firm is a hard breach; the firm says copying between accounts you own is allowed.

EAs and prohibited strategies

  • EAs are allowed only where you own or control the strategy or code. Grid, martingale, tick scalping, arbitrage, third-party bots or signals, shared strategies and prop firm passing tools are prohibited.

Daily drawdown

  • The daily limit is 4% or 5% of the end-of-day balance depending on the program, counting floating and closed losses, and resets at 22:00 UTC. On evaluations a breach fails the account; on Instant Funding it is a soft breach.

Static maximum drawdown

  • The maximum drawdown is 6%, 8% or 10% depending on the program, fixed from the initial balance and never moving up. Reaching it through realised or unrealised losses closes the account with no refund.

Inactivity rule

  • At least one trade of 0.1 lots or more is required in every 30-day period. Thirty consecutive inactive days is a hard breach and the account is terminated.

Max accounts

  • A trader may hold 3 active funded accounts at a time, with no limit on evaluation accounts. Only one user account is allowed per IP address, apart from a documented shared-household exception.
