RZR Funded trading rules

Understand RZR Funded trading rules before starting an evaluation or funded account. Prop Firm Pal breaks down RZR Funded drawdown limits, profit targets, restricted strategies, news trading policies, and consistency requirements so you can trade within RZR Funded guidelines and protect your account in 2026.

Formerly Hantec Trader

  • Hantec Trader rebranded to RZR Funded in October 2026 and moved from htrader.hmarkets.com to rzrfunded.com. The firm states that no challenge rules or products changed, that all active challenges and funded accounts continue uninterrupted with no change to balances or progress, that existing payout schedules and conditions are unaffected, and that traders do not need to create new accounts or sign new terms. The help centre puts it plainly: "RZR Funded, formally Hantec Trader, was launched in 2023." The firm says moving to a standalone brand gives it more flexibility than its association with a globally regulated brokerage allowed, while the simulated accounts remain hosted on Hantec Markets' trading servers.

Profit Target

  • Express requires a 10% balance increase over the starting balance in its single stage. Enhanced requires 10% in Stage 1 and 5% in Stage 2. EnhancedX requires 8% in Stage 1 and 4% in Stage 2. Endurance requires 6% in each of its three stages. Instant Funding, Instant Lite and Instant24 skip the evaluation entirely and have no profit target. The target is measured on balance with no open positions, and there is no profit target on any funded account. The Profit Target (-2%) add-on lowers the Express target from 10% to 8%.

Maximum Daily Loss

  • Express and Enhanced are 5%, EnhancedX and Endurance are 4%, Instant Funding is 6%, Instant Lite is 3% and Instant24 is 2%. At 00:00 server time the next day's limit is calculated from the previous day's end-of-day balance or equity, whichever is higher. On a $100,000 Enhanced account closing at $105,000 balance and $107,000 equity, the permitted daily loss is $5,350 and the loss level is $101,650. Breaching it is a hard breach and closes the account.

Maximum Total Loss

  • Express is 6% and trails the closed balance, locking permanently at the starting balance once 6% profit is reached. Enhanced is a static 10% of the starting balance, EnhancedX and Endurance a static 8% that does not move or reset after a payout — a $100,000 EnhancedX account is fixed at $92,000 for the life of the account. Instant Funding is 6% trailing, Instant Lite 5% trailing and Instant24 3% trailing from the balance high-water mark. On Express, Instant Funding and Instant Lite the limit locks at the starting balance when the first withdrawal is taken, so the firm advises leaving a buffer. The Max Drawdown (+2%) add-on raises Express to 8% and EnhancedX to 10%; the Maximum Loss +1% add-on raises Instant Funding to 7% and Instant Lite to 6%.

Maximum Open Risk

  • On Express, Enhanced, EnhancedX and Endurance funded accounts, combined floating (unrealised) loss across all open positions must not exceed 3% of the starting balance; there is no restriction during the challenge phase. Instant Funding is also 3%. Instant Lite and Instant24 are 1%. On a $50,000 account at a 3% limit, two open trades with a combined floating loss of $1,800 is 3.6% and a hard breach. On Instant24, closing and reopening a position in the same direction on the same instrument within 10 minutes counts as the same trade and does not reset the limit.

Consistency Rule

  • EnhancedX requires a consistency score of 35% or lower, calculated as (best trading day's profit / total profit) × 100 on end-of-day equity. Instant Lite requires 20% or lower. Instant24 applies the rule per trade instead: no single trade may account for more than 15% of total accumulated profits, and partial closes of one position are combined into a single trade for the calculation. Express, Enhanced, Endurance and Instant Funding have no consistency requirement. The Remove Consistency add-on lifts it from the EnhancedX challenge phase only; the Consistency Rule +5% add-on raises Instant Lite from 20% to 25%.

Minimum Trading and Profitable Days

  • Enhanced requires 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% at each stage, and 3 in every withdrawal cycle on the funded account, resetting each cycle. Endurance requires 3 trading days per stage, where any day a new trade is opened counts. Instant Lite requires 5 days of at least 0.5% profit in each payout cycle. Express, EnhancedX, Instant Funding and Instant24 have no minimum days. The No Minimum Profitable Days and No Minimum Trading Days add-ons remove the requirement. There is no maximum trading period on any challenge; Instant24 is the exception, with a 24-hour window from the first trade that the Additional Time Limit add-on extends to 36 hours.

News Trading

  • There are no news restrictions during the challenge phase of Express, Enhanced, EnhancedX or Endurance. On funded accounts, and on Instant Funding and Instant Lite from the start, trades cannot be opened or closed within 3 minutes before or after red-folder news events as listed by Forex Factory. Instant24 permits news trading. The News Trading add-on removes the restriction entirely, and the Weekend Holding & News Trading add-on does the same for the Instant accounts.

Weekend Holding

  • Express, Enhanced, EnhancedX and Endurance may hold positions over the weekend on both challenge and funded accounts. Instant Funding, Instant Lite and Instant24 must close all trades by 23:45 GMT+3 on Friday, with Instant24 closing open trades automatically 15 minutes before market close. Cryptocurrency is the exception: traders on any account type may trade crypto over the weekend, and Instant accounts can open new crypto positions after Friday's close. The Hold Over Weekend add-on lifts the restriction on Instant accounts.

Expert Advisors and Automated Trading

  • EAs, indicators and trading bots are permitted on Express, Enhanced, EnhancedX and Endurance accounts in both the challenge and funded stages. They are strictly prohibited on Instant Funding, Instant Lite and Instant24, which are manual trading only. Where EAs are allowed, each must run a unique strategy with customised rather than default or widely shared settings, identical strategies must not be used across multiple accounts or users, and the maximum capital allocation per EA or strategy is $400,000. RZR Funded may ask for information about the EA for compliance checks and says all EA activity is monitored.

Copy Trading and Group Trading

  • Traders may copy trades between their own accounts up to the $400,000 combined allocation, and a trade copier is the firm's suggested alternative to merging accounts, which it does not support. Copy trading between different individuals is prohibited, including friends and family, third-party traders, account management services and challenge-passing services. Group trading is assessed on matching symbol, direction and closely matched open and close times across accounts, weighed by the proportion of matching trades rather than any single match; the firm states that trading the same symbol or a similar strategy is not itself group trading. Reverse hedging — opposing positions on the same or correlated instruments across different accounts — is also prohibited.

Scalping and the Risk Management Group

  • Scalping is defined as trades held for 3 minutes or less, and no more than 30% of profits in a cycle may come from them — on $10,000 of profit, trades held under 3 minutes may contribute at most $3,000. Exceeding the limit can reset the challenge phase or require trading on until the proportion falls back to 30%. Scalping, consistently risking more than 3% (1% on Instant Lite), account rolling and continuous high margin usage can place a trader in the Risk Management Group, a temporary classification that cuts funded-account leverage to 1:30 forex, 1:5 indices, 1:5 commodities, 1:3 metals and 1:1 crypto. Challenge accounts are unaffected, and traders can request removal after 3 successful payouts on a single account.

Prohibited Practices

  • Prohibited across every account type: exploiting platform errors, pricing errors, latencies or technical issues; collusion to manipulate prices or coordinate trading, including through multiple IP addresses; overleveraging, overexposure and one-sided betting; reverse hedging; and opening or controlling multiple user profiles with different, false or misleading registration details, through shared or masked device IDs, IP addresses, VPNs, proxies or virtual machines, or to reuse first-time-user discounts. A breach forfeits all performance rewards on the account even if it is in profit at the time.

Payouts and Rewards

  • On Express, Enhanced, Endurance and the Instant accounts, the first reward can be requested 14 days after the first trade, then every 14 days, or every 7 with the Weekly Payout add-on. The First Payout On Demand add-on brings the first request forward to the first day of the funded stage. The default reward share is 80%, raised to 95% by the 95% Reward Share add-on. The minimum request is $20, except on EnhancedX where it is 2% of the starting balance and the full available profit must be requested in one go, and Instant24 where 3% of the account balance must be reached and the payout is accessible once the 24-hour window completes. Rewards are processed Monday to Friday, and the firm publishes a 10-hour average payout time. Challenge fees are not refunded on passing or on reaching a payout.

24-Hour Reward Approval Guarantee

  • An eligible reward request receives an approval decision within 24 business hours of submission, where business hours run Monday 10:00 to Friday 17:00 GMT+4; a request made after 17:00 Friday starts from 10:00 Monday, and the clock pauses over the weekend. If the deadline is missed, RZR Funded adds an amount equal to the approved reward, capped at $1,000 — a $600 reward becomes $1,200, a $2,000 reward becomes $3,000. The guarantee covers approval only, not the payment provider's processing time, and does not apply where there is a rule breach, suspected prohibited trading, an open investigation or incorrect payment details.

Maximum Allocation and Scaling

  • Traders may hold a maximum combined allocation of $400,000 across all accounts, whether in challenge or funded stage. Only one Instant account — Instant Funding or Instant Lite — may be held at a time, plus up to 3 Instant24 accounts, which do not count towards that limit. On passing an Express, Enhanced, EnhancedX or Endurance challenge, a trader can take the funded account at the same balance or scale up, receiving new challenge credentials at the next size along $2K → $5K → $10K → $25K → $50K → $100K → $200K. There is no scaling on any Instant program.

Verification and the Trader Contract

  • Passing an evaluation does not activate the funded account. The Risk Team reviews the account first, which can take up to 3 business days, then KYC must be completed and the Trader Contract signed before access is granted. KYC is required after the first challenge is passed on 1-, 2- and 3-step accounts, and when the first withdrawal becomes available on Instant accounts. It needs one photo ID valid for at least 6 months and one proof of address dated within 3 months, with proof of relationship where a document is in another person's name. Traders must be over 18 and not resident in a restricted country.

Inactivity

  • At least one trade must be placed every 30 days on challenge and funded accounts alike. On the 30th consecutive day without trading activity the account receives a hard breach and is deactivated. This applies across every program type.

Trading Costs

  • RZR Funded prices on raw spreads in the simulated environment with a commission charged per lot when opening and closing. The published forex specification shows $5 per lot in commission on the majors, spreads from 0.00001 on USDCHF and 0.00002 on EURUSD and GBPUSD, 100,000 contract sizes and trading hours of 00:03–23:58 CET. Swaps are charged or credited on positions held overnight, with triple swap on Wednesday for forex and commodities and on Friday for indices and cryptocurrencies. There are no recurring or hidden fees: the only cost is the price of the account at purchase.
