Aqua Futures Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Aqua Futures (AquaFutures) is a futures prop firm that states it supports futures only, with no stocks, options, forex or crypto; CFD traders are pointed to its CFD prop firm, AquaFunded. Traders get CME, CBOT and NYMEX contracts on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Deepcharts, through three evaluations (Beginner, Standard and Flex) and two instant funding accounts (Instant Standard and Instant Pro), with account sizes from $25,000 to $150,000. None of the five charges an activation fee, and Aqua Futures advertises a profit split of up to 100% and a reward guarantee: paid in 24 hours or it pays an extra $1,000.
The Aqua Futures drawdown depends on the account. Beginner, Standard, Flex and Instant Standard trail the highest end-of-day balance (EOD drawdown), while Instant Pro trails balance and equity in real time; the level locks once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. On a $50,000 account the maximum drawdown is $2,500 on Beginner and both Instant accounts, $2,000 on Standard and $1,500 on Flex. Beginner and Instant Standard add a daily loss limit of $1,250 at that size; Standard, Flex and Instant Pro have none. The evaluations have no minimum trading days. The consistency rule is 40% on Beginner, 40% on Standard once funded, 40% on Flex in the evaluation only, 20% on Instant Standard and 15% on Instant Pro. Rules that end accounts or block payouts include no positions within two minutes of Tier 1 news, a ban on 100 or more trades a day, closure after 7 calendar days without a trade, and a cap of 3 funded accounts.
Beginner and both Instant accounts pay a 100% profit split until $15,000 in lifetime withdrawals, then 90%; Standard pays a fixed 90% and Flex 80%. Payouts are weekly on Beginner and the Instant accounts and on demand on Standard and Flex, after 5 winning days (7 on Instant accounts) and with each request capped by account size. Every payout carries a 3% processing fee and is paid mainly through Riseworks, typically within 24 business hours. The help centre publishes no price list or refund policy, and one article mentions a monthly subscription fee for evaluation accounts.

News trading: no positions or pending orders within two minutes before or after a Tier 1 release or red folder news, news straddles are prohibited, and in the evaluation news trades cannot be the only way the target was reached.
Fully automated systems, bots and AI execution are prohibited on every account; semi-automated tools are allowed only while the trader is present and managing positions.
Copy trading is allowed only between accounts owned and operated by the same person.
Hedging between Aqua Futures accounts, between traders or across prop firms is prohibited, as are offsetting Mini and Micro positions on the same asset.
Martingale is permitted when used responsibly within all rules.
High-frequency trading is prohibited: fewer than 100 trades a day, at least 50% of closed trades held longer than 1 minute, and an average risk-to-reward above 0.3RR.
The consistency rule is 40% on Beginner, none in the Standard evaluation but 40% once funded, 40% in the Flex evaluation only, 20% on Instant Standard and 15% on Instant Pro; breaking it blocks passing or withdrawing but is not a breach.
Open trades close automatically at each daily market close, including the Friday close, and this is not a violation.
There are no minimum trading days in the evaluation; each funded withdrawal needs 5 winning days on Beginner, Standard and Flex or 7 on Instant accounts, each meeting a minimum daily profit.
Traders may hold up to 3 active funded accounts, Instant accounts included.
Only futures are supported, and trading within 2% of a CME price limit is prohibited.
Only the account owner may trade the account.
A payout request is denied if the largest losing trade is bigger than the largest winning trade, though the account stays active.

Aqua Futures web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked Aqua Futures's website traffic every month since November 2025. In September 2026 the site received an estimated 33.78K visits, down 48% on the month before and down 76% over three months.
Its busiest month on record was March 2026 at roughly 211.65K visits. Traffic now is 84% below that peak.
A fall of this size over a quarter is the pattern that most often precedes a firm winding down, though it is not proof of it on its own — marketing spend, seasonality and a single lost traffic source all produce the same shape. It is worth weighing before paying for an evaluation.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How Aqua Futures compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for September 2026, Aqua Futures ranks 142 of the 463 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 69% of them, at roughly 33.78K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between July 2026 and September 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before July 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What is the Aqua Futures profit split?
Beginner, Instant Standard and Instant Pro accounts pay a 100% profit split until a trader reaches $15,000 in lifetime approved withdrawals, then 90%. Standard accounts pay a fixed 90% from the first withdrawal, and Flex accounts pay 80%.
What are the Aqua Futures drawdown rules?
Beginner, Standard, Flex and Instant Standard use an end-of-day trailing drawdown that follows the highest end-of-day balance; Instant Pro trails balance and equity in real time. The level locks at the starting balance plus $100, and on a $50,000 account the maximum drawdown is $2,500 on Beginner and Instant accounts, $2,000 on Standard and $1,500 on Flex.
Does Aqua Futures have a consistency rule?
Yes, on every account type. It is 40% on Beginner, 40% on Standard only once funded, 40% on Flex only during the evaluation, 20% on Instant Standard and 15% on Instant Pro; breaking it blocks passing or withdrawing until your highest profit day falls below the limit, but it is not a breach.
How do Aqua Futures payouts work?
Payouts are weekly on Beginner and Instant accounts and on demand on Standard and Flex accounts. Each withdrawal needs 5 winning days (7 on Instant accounts) that meet a minimum daily profit, a largest loss no bigger than the largest win, and a request within the account's cap; payouts carry a 3% processing fee and are paid mainly through Riseworks, typically within 24 business hours.
Does Aqua Futures offer instant funding?
Yes. Instant Standard and Instant Pro accounts at $50,000 and $100,000 skip the evaluation, pay a 100% profit split and have no profit target, but need a balance buffer of 6% before the first payout. Instant Standard has a daily loss limit and a 20% consistency rule; Instant Pro has no daily loss limit, an intraday trailing drawdown and a 15% consistency rule.
