Bit Funded Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Bitfunded is a crypto prop firm that calls itself the first prop firm designed exclusively for cryptocurrency trading. Founded in 2023 and run by Tronovix LTD in the United Arab Emirates, it sells a 1-step challenge, a cheaper One Step Express, a 2-step challenge and Instant Funding accounts, plus an hours-long Day Trader Challenge. Accounts are in USDT, from 2,500 USDT on Instant Funding up to 150,000 USDT on the challenges, and trade crypto pairs plus a few TradFi pairs (XAU, XAG, TSLA) on Bitfunded's own simulated platform.
The Bitfunded rules differ by challenge. The 1-step needs a 10% profit target with a 4% daily and 6% maximum loss; One Step Express needs 9% with 3% daily and 3% overall; the 2-step asks for 8% then 5%, with 5% daily loss and 10% maximum loss in stage 1 and 8% after. The trading period is unlimited, and the help-centre tables list no minimum trading days, though the terms list 5. Daily and maximum loss include floating losses and are measured from the starting balance, with the daily reset at 00:00 UTC+8. The rules most likely to cost a payout are the maximum holding time (10 days on top-10 crypto, 7 on minor crypto, 5 on TradFi pairs), a cap of 5 open positions (the terms say 10), and payout penalties for putting most of the margin into one idea. Hedging is prohibited; news trading is allowed.
Bitfunded's profit split is 80% on the challenges and the Day Trader Challenge, and 60% on Instant Funding. Payouts are paid in USDT on a Profit-Sharing Day the trader sets between 2 and 60 days after the first trade, and the FAQ says requests are processed within 24 hours on working days. The help centre allows 2 payouts every 30 days per challenge. KYC is required once profit reaches $10,000. The help centre returns the challenge fee with the third withdrawal on Two Steps Evaluations only, while the refund policy page ties it to the first profit split day. Challenge prices are published, from $39 for a 5,000 USDT One Step Express.

News trading is allowed.
Algorithmic trading is allowed if it respects platform rules and risk limits, but software that manipulates or abuses Bitfunded's systems is prohibited.
Using third-party or marketed strategies to pass a challenge and coordinating trades across multiple accounts are prohibited.
Hedging, including opposite positions on the same asset, is prohibited.
Exploiting latency, price errors or slow data feeds and arbitraging between accounts are prohibited.
On Instant Funding, a single trading pair making up 60% or more of net profit in a payout period brings a 50% penalty on the withdrawable profit.
Positions may stay open at most 10 days on top-10 crypto assets, 7 days on minor crypto and 5 days on XAU, XAG and TSLA; the terms set 10 days for any position.
Floating losses carried past the 00:00 UTC+8 daily reset count against the new day's loss limit, because the previous day's profit does not carry over.
The help-centre tables list no minimum trading days while the terms list 5 per step, and each payout period needs at least 2 closed trades (3 on Instant Funding), each open for 10 minutes or more.
The 1-step, 2-step and Instant Funding accounts have no time limit, while the Day Trader Challenge must hit its target within 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.
Traders can buy any number of challenges but hold only one Trader Stage account per challenge type at a time, under a single account identity.
Accounts may not be shared or bought for someone else, though a company account may let its employees or representatives trade.
The help centre caps open positions at 5 at once across all instruments; the terms say 10.
Committing most of the account margin to one trade or correlated positions brings payout penalties of 50% to 70% depending on how much is used.

How Bit Funded compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Bit Funded ranks 55 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 88% of them, at roughly 253.36K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
