Equity Edge Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
Equity Edge is a CFD prop firm that sells three challenge tiers, Legacy, Swift and Flagship, each as a 1-step and a 2-step evaluation, plus an Instant account that skips the challenge. Account sizes run from $2,500 to $300,000: $200,000 is limited to Flagship challenges and Instant accounts, and $300,000 to Instant accounts. Traders use MT5 or Match-Trader for forex, metals, energies, indices and crypto. Equity Edge advertises an 80% profit split rising to 90% through its scaling plan, and is run by Equity Edge Ltd, registered in Saint Lucia.
No Equity Edge challenge has a time limit. The 1-step evaluations use a trailing drawdown: Legacy and Flagship set a 10% profit target with a 4% daily and 6% trailing maximum loss, and Swift sets 8% with 3% and 5%. The 2-step challenges use a static maximum loss: Legacy asks for 10% then 5% within 5% daily and 10% overall, Swift 8% then 5% within 4% and 8%, and Flagship 8% then 5% within 4% and 10%. Minimum trading days are 2 per phase, or 3 on the 2-Step Flagship. The Instant account has a 3% daily limit, a 5% trailing maximum loss and a 15% consistency score. Rules to watch: no opening or closing trades 2 minutes either side of high-impact news on Legacy and Swift, 5 minutes on funded Flagship accounts and 8 minutes on Instant accounts, with no news restriction in Flagship evaluations, and bans on EAs, hedging, martingale and copy trading beyond two challenge accounts.
Equity Edge payouts can be requested every 14 calendar days from the first funded trade, with a $125 minimum, and the firm says they are processed within 48 hours by bank wire or crypto. Instant accounts pay a 90% profit split; challenge accounts reach 90% with on-demand payouts at VIP level after sixteen payouts. Commission is $3 per round lot on 1-step and 2-step accounts and $6 on Instant accounts, with indices commission-free. All sales are final with no refunds, and challenge prices are not published on the pages read.

How Equity Edge compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Equity Edge ranks 18 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 96% of them, at roughly 965.53K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.
