Blusky Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
BluSky, run by BluSky Trading Company LLC of St. Petersburg, Florida, is a futures prop firm that calls itself "The Funded Futures Prop Firm For Serious Traders". Its path runs from an evaluation to a Sim Funded account with withdrawable profits, and from there to a review for a Live Brokerage account once total profit reaches $10,000. Traders choose between Launch plans (50K to 200K), Propel plans (25K to 300K) and one-time Orbit plans (50K to 200K), two instant funding products that skip the evaluation (Instant Sim Funded at $50,000 and Direct to Funded at $3,500), and two-phase Stock Account Plans at $2K, $4K and $7K. Futures accounts trade through Volumetrica, Rithmic or Tradovate, including NinjaTrader.
Launch and Propel add a Buffer Zone between the evaluation and Sim Funded, with its own target, so a failed Buffer Zone is reset without redoing the evaluation. A 50K account on any of the three plans has a $3,000 profit target and a $2,000 end-of-day trailing drawdown, and none carries a daily loss limit; the Launch 200K, Orbit 200K and Propel 150K to 300K use a static drawdown. The BluSky consistency rule is 50% in the Launch evaluation and 34% in the Propel evaluation and both Buffer Zones (21% on the Propel 300K); the Orbit evaluation has none, but Orbit applies 40% once funded and expires 30 days after purchase. Launch and Propel bill every 30 days until you pass, and Launch adds a launch fee of $99, $149 or $179 that must be paid within 14 days of passing or the passed account is forfeited. Direct to Funded closes on a fourth negative day in any rolling 10 trading days.
The BluSky profit split is 90%, which its payouts article says applies unless changed by a Risk Team Review; Instant Sim Funded pays 80%, and Direct to Funded starts at 50% and rises to 80% after 30 trading days. Launch and Propel Sim Funded payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, from $250, within a rolling 7-day cap. The Orbit plan article sets payouts every three trading days, while its payout article describes daily withdrawals from $500. Payouts go through Gusto or Rise Pay. The help centre states there are no refunds, including on resets; the terms say a refund request may be accepted within 48 hours of a subscription purchase, less 15%. The help centre does not list evaluation prices.

Blusky web traffic, month by month
Prop Firm Pal has tracked Blusky's website traffic every month since November 2025. In August 2026 the site received an estimated 249.07K visits, up 6% on the month before and up 74% over three months.
Growth of this size usually means active marketing rather than anything about payout reliability. A firm can grow quickly and still have strict rules.
These are third-party estimates of website visits, collected once a month and stored against the month they describe. They are not trader counts, funded-account numbers or revenue.

How Blusky compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Blusky ranks 56 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 88% of them, at roughly 249.07K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What is the BluSky profit split?
BluSky pays a 90% profit split, which its payouts article says applies at all times unless changed by a Risk Team Review. Instant Sim Funded accounts pay 80%, and Direct to Funded starts at 50% for 30 trading days before rising to 80%.
What are the BluSky drawdown rules?
Most BluSky evaluations use an end-of-day trailing drawdown, $2,000 on a 50K, that rises with your highest end-of-day balance; the Launch 200K, Orbit 200K and Propel 150K, 200K and 300K are static. Launch, Propel and Orbit have no daily loss limit, while Instant Sim Funded has a $2,000 intraday trailing drawdown and a $1,000 daily loss limit, and Direct to Funded a $2,500 static drawdown and a $2,000 daily loss limit.
Does BluSky have a consistency rule?
Yes, on most plans. It is 50% in the Launch evaluation, 34% in the Propel evaluation and the Buffer Zone (21% on the Propel 300K), 40% on Orbit once funded with none in the Orbit evaluation, and 21% on Instant Sim Funded and Direct to Funded; being out of consistency blocks passing or a payout but does not fail the account.
How do BluSky payouts work?
On Launch and Propel Sim Funded accounts you can request a payout daily, Monday to Friday, from $250, within a rolling 7-day cap of $1,500 to $3,000 depending on size. Requests before 11AM ET are processed the same day and paid through Gusto or Rise Pay. The Orbit plan article sets Orbit payouts every three trading days, while the Orbit payout article describes daily withdrawals from $500.
Does BluSky offer instant funding?
Yes. Instant Sim Funded is a one-time $50,000 account with an 80% profit split, a 21% consistency rule and payouts on balances above $53,000; Direct to Funded is a $3,500 account whose split starts at 50% and which closes on a fourth negative day in any rolling 10 trading days. Neither can be reset.
