Trade Day Review: Rules, Profit Split & Payouts
TradeDay (TradeDay LLC) is a futures prop firm established in 2020 and registered in Illinois, USA, trading CME Group futures on the CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX. It runs two evaluations, Quick Pay and Fast Pass, each in $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 sizes, billed as a subscription every 30 days with no activation fee. Passing leads to a Funded Sim account and then a Funded Live account, where withdrawals carry a 90% profit split. Traders can hold up to 10 accounts on Tradovate, NinjaTrader or Rithmic-based platforms, and TradeDay says it has paid out over $10 million.
The profit target is 6% of the account ($1,500 to $9,000) and the trailing maximum drawdown runs from $1,000 to $4,500, with no time limit to pass. Quick Pay needs 5 trading days and a 30% consistency rule, and comes with intraday or end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown. Fast Pass needs 3 trading days, uses a 45% consistency rule and EOD drawdown only. A day above the consistency limit raises the profit target rather than failing the account. Rules that end accounts or block funding: no trading within 2 minutes of tier 1 news, all positions closed 10 minutes before the daily close, no third-party bots or more than 200 trades a day, no hedging between accounts, and gold, silver, copper and platinum futures currently restricted.
Quick Pay Funded Sim payouts can be requested from the first trading day while the balance is positive; Fast Pass Funded Sim payouts come after every 5 profitable days. The minimum payout is $250, requests before 5:30 pm CT are processed within 24 hours on business days, and funds arrive through Riseworks by bank wire or crypto. Help-centre prices run from $100 to $480 per 30 days, resets cost $45 to $225, and TradeDay does not refund fees after purchase. Funded Live traders pay $156 a month per exchange for CME professional market data.

Is Trade Day legit?
Prop Firm Pal has not verified Trade Day, so this is not an endorsement: it is what the record shows. Its own pages name the operating company as TradeDay LLC, in Registered in Illinois, USA, with a presence in the UK. It was founded in 2020. Its website has been active in Prop Firm Pal's monthly traffic record since November 2025, and traffic over the last three months is growing. It claims Over $10 million paid to traders; that is its own figure, and we have not seen its payout records. Its payout policy is published, and summarised on the Payouts tab.

Automated systems may be run only through supported platforms, with no API access; bots bought from a third party, or the same bot used by several users, are forbidden.
Copy trading from a personal account elsewhere into TradeDay evaluations and funded accounts is allowed, but Funded Live and Funded Sim accounts cannot be traded together or copied between.
Hedging, going long in one account and short in another on the same product, is prohibited.
Strategies producing more than 200 trades a day are prohibited, and order splitting or microscalping patterns lead to account review; general scalping is allowed.
The consistency rule is 30% in the Quick Pay evaluation and 45% in Fast Pass; exceeding it raises the profit target instead of failing the evaluation, Quick Pay Funded Sim has no consistency rule, and Fast Pass Funded Sim accounts opened on or after July 26 2026 must meet 45% before a payout.
No positions may be held into the market close, so weekend holding is not possible.
Overnight trading after the 5 pm CT open is allowed, but positions must be closed 10 minutes before that session's close.
The Quick Pay evaluation needs 5 trading days and Fast Pass 3; Fast Pass Funded Sim payouts each need 5 profitable days.
There is no time limit to pass an evaluation.
Traders may hold up to 10 accounts, with at most 5 active Funded Sim and 5 Funded Live, all on one broker and one user per household.
Only permitted CME Group futures may be traded; gold, silver, copper and platinum are restricted from February 11 2026, and funded traders may not trade within 2% of a price limit.
Account access is limited to the user who subscribed.

How Trade Day compares in size
Measured on estimated monthly website visits for August 2026, Trade Day ranks 61 of the 477 prop firms Prop Firm Pal tracks — larger than 87% of them, at roughly 240.86K visits a month.
The ranking covers every firm measured between June 2026 and August 2026, each on its own latest reading in that window. Firms last measured before June 2026 are left out rather than shown with a stale figure, so the total moves month to month.
Size is not quality. A large firm is one that markets successfully, and several of the most visited firms in this ranking have the strictest rules; some of the smallest pay out reliably to everyone who asks. What the ranking is useful for is scale — whether you are looking at an established operation or something very new.

FAQs
What is TradeDay's profit split?
TradeDay pays a 90% profit split on withdrawals from Funded Live accounts. Before that, Quick Pay Funded Sim payouts are split 50/50 below $4,000 of current profit and 80/20 above it, and Fast Pass Funded Sim payouts are split 80/20.
What are the TradeDay drawdown rules?
Every TradeDay account has a trailing maximum drawdown of $1,000 on 25K, $2,000 on 50K, $3,000 on 100K and $4,500 on 150K. Quick Pay evaluations offer intraday or end-of-day (EOD) drawdown, but Quick Pay Funded Sim accounts always trail intraday; Fast Pass stays EOD.
Does TradeDay have a consistency rule?
Yes. No single day can exceed 30% of total profits in the Quick Pay evaluation or 45% in Fast Pass, and a bigger day raises the profit target rather than failing the account. Quick Pay Funded Sim has no consistency rule, while Fast Pass Funded Sim accounts opened on or after July 26 2026 must meet 45% before each payout.
How do TradeDay payouts work?
Quick Pay Funded Sim traders can request a payout from their first trading day while the balance is positive; Fast Pass Funded Sim traders need 5 profitable days per cycle. The minimum is $250, requests before 5:30 pm CT are processed within 24 hours on business days, and payouts are made through Riseworks by bank wire or crypto.
How much does a TradeDay account cost?
TradeDay's help centre lists Quick Pay Intraday at $100 to $350, Quick Pay End of Day at $120 to $395 and Fast Pass at $130 to $480, billed every 30 days until you pass. There is no activation fee, resets cost $45 to $225, and billing stops once you pass.
